2022 Official Pumpkin Carving Championships
Rules & FAQs
Rules for the Official 2022 Pumpkin Carving Championships.
- All entrants must register for FREE with Virtual Championships. Registration requires a valid email address and choosing a password.
- All entries will be carved from a fresh pumpkin in 2022.
- Entrants must be 13 years of age or older.
- There will be two levels of competition. Teens 13-17 yrs, and Adults 18 yrs and older.
- Two photos are required per submission. One photo of the carved pumpkin. The second required photo will be of you, the carver of the pumpkin, sitting or standing next to your carved pumpkin.
- The photo requirements are high resolution 300dpi or greater, no smaller than 400 pixels in any direction, and no larger than 8mg (file size).
- Photos must be appropriate for all ages. Entries with photos which are deemed inappropriate by Virtual Championships, will be disqualified with no refund of entry fee.
- Entry fees will be $3.00 (USD), payable through PayPal. Free to register for a PayPal account to make and accept payments with credit and debit cards, etc.
- There is no limit to the number of entries.
- Prizes are Rosettes for 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd place, and Honorable Mention at each level.
FAQs
- Awards for any of the several competition venues (Holiday Decor, Costume, Karaoke, etc.) on the Virtual Championships platform will be displayed on your Profile Page under the Awards tab.
- Accolades posted on Virtual Championships website, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube follow each contest, for the winners on each venue. Be sure to add a nice profile picture to your Profile Page for us to use in press releases, and other promotional events.
- By entering any Virtual Championships venue, you are granting permission to the use of your entry photos and photos from your profile page, to promote you, to promote the venue of competition, and to promote Virtual Championships around the world!
